Update: South Bay will host a National Guard Soccer Clinic this Thursday, April 10 at Southwest High School’s stadium. The address is 1685 Hollister St, San Diego, CA 92154
The session is part of the National Guard’s Grassroots Soccer (GRS) program and the goal is to prepare youth players for success at college. The Army National Guard’s Grassroots Soccer program was created to inform and educate high school-aged soccer players, their parents, club coaches, and high school and college coaches on the benefits of how joining the Guard can assist them with reaching their goals.
The National Guard’s game plan is to open the doors of possibilities for today’s youth soccer players. Interested in helping the scholar athletes, the National Guard is sponsoring the free clinics as well as providing a meal and T shirts for all the players. The free clinics are for ages 16 to 19 and are open to all interested. All players should arrive well before the session start time.
